Why You Keep Starting Over (And It’s Not What You Think)

You told yourself this time would be different.

You were motivated. Focused. Ready.
You had the plan. The structure. The intention.

And then… somehow… you ended up right back where you started.

Again.

So now you’re questioning yourself.

“Why can’t I stay consistent?”
“Why do I always fall off?”
“Why does this feel so hard for me—but not for everyone else?”

Let’s get one thing straight:

👉 It’s not because you’re lazy.
👉 It’s not because you lack discipline.
👉 And it’s definitely not because you don’t want it bad enough.

But the real reason?

It’s deeper than habits.
Deeper than motivation.
And honestly… it’s probably not what you’ve been focusing on.

The Lie You’ve Been Sold About Consistency

Most people think consistency is about doing more.

More discipline.
More structure.
More pressure on yourself to “just follow through.”

So you try to push harder.

You set stricter routines.
You tell yourself this is the time you won’t quit.
You rely on willpower to carry you through.

And maybe it works… for a little while.

Until it doesn’t.

Because eventually, something always pulls you back.

Not because you failed.

But because you’re trying to change your life…
without changing the version of you that’s running it.

Why You Feel Stuck (Even When You’re Trying)

There’s a moment most people don’t talk about.

It’s that space between who you are now…
and who you’re trying to become.

And if you’re being honest?

That space feels uncomfortable.

You don’t fully feel like your old self anymore…
but you don’t fully feel like your next level self either.

So you end up stuck in between.

Starting. Stopping. Restarting.

Not because you don’t know what to do—
but because something internally isn’t aligned yet.

The Pattern No One Calls Out

Here’s what I see all the time:

You get inspired → you take action → you feel momentum
…and then slowly, you drift back.

Not all at once.
Not dramatically.

Just small shifts.

Skipped days.
Lower standards.
Less urgency.

Until suddenly… you’re back at square one.

And the most frustrating part?

You know you’re capable of more.

So What’s Actually Going On?

Instead of asking:

“Why can’t I stay consistent?”

A better question is:

👉 “What version of me is actually in control right now?”

Because the truth is…

You’re not just one version of yourself.

And until you understand that—
you’ll keep repeating the same cycle.

This Is Where Everything Starts to Change

This isn’t about adding more to your routine.

It’s about looking at something most people avoid:

👉 Who you believe you are.

Because your habits?
Your discipline?
Your consistency?

They all come from that.

And when that shifts…

Everything else starts to follow.

🎧 Ready to Break the Cycle?

If this hit you—even a little—you need to listen to this episode:

💬 Final Thought

You’re not broken.

You’re not behind.

You’re just trying to force change…
without understanding what’s actually driving your behavior.

And once you see it—

You can finally change it.
